Believe in Hallandale Campaign: Investing in Students, Families, and a Stronger School Community

 

Believe in Hallandale is a community investment initiative rooted in the year-round work of United Way Broward's Community Partnership Schools (CPS) at Gulfstream Academy of Hallandale Beach K-8 and Hallandale Magnet High School. These schools serve as neighborhood hubs, providing comprehensive wraparound support to students, families, and community members.

Community Partnership Schools are built on four pillars: Family and Community Engagement, Wellness Supports, Expanded Learning, and Collaborative Leadership. Together, these interconnected strategies create a supportive environment where students have the resources, opportunities, and relationships they need to succeed.

Sponsor investments strengthen the foundation of this work by enhancing existing programs, expanding engagement opportunities, and supporting the resources that serve students and families throughout the entire school year—not just during one-time events. Funding also helps remove barriers to student success by providing essential supplies, recognizing and supporting educators, and fostering a culture of belonging and school pride.
